Requirements according to NEN-EN 14122-4
To comply with the applicable safety standards according to NEN-EN 14122-4, the configuration must include adequate fall protection at access points.
This means that:
- A self-closing gate must be installed at the access point to the platform or landing, ensuring that the opening is automatically closed after use.
- An exit guardrail must be installed where there is a transition from a ladder to an elevated working surface, in order to minimize the risk of falling.
Attention: If one or both of these safety features are not included in the configuration, the assembly does not comply with the requirements of the NEN-EN 14122-4 standard.
